Your Visit
- Initial Discussion – Your consultation begins with a relaxed conversation about your concerns, medical history, and any symptoms you may be experiencing. This is your time to share any worries regarding your heart health.
- Examination – A physical examination is performed and blood pressure taken. Blood tests may be required or a chest X-ray advised. An ECG may be carried out. Our specialists will explain every step to ensure you feel comfortable and informed.
- Diagnosis– The consultant will discuss your symptoms and examination results and a possible diagnosis with treatment options. If external tests are carried out (such as bloods or an x-ray) a follow up consultation may be required. (This can be face to face, video or by telephone)

The Zio Patch is a small, adhesive, wireless ECG (electrocardiogram) device worn on the chest to monitor heart rhythm for up to 14 days. It’s designed for continuous heart monitoring, allowing patients to go about their normal daily activities. The device records heart rhythm and stores the data, which is then sent to the Consultant.

An ECG (electrocardiogram) is a test that measures the electrical activity of the heart. An ECG will be included in your consultation appointment however you can book this in isolation, where you will be given the reading but no analysis from the Consultant.
